Creating new folders to put items in can really help you navigate your library as you collect dozens of articles for the school year. To do this, simply click the "Add new folder" icon and name your new folder, as shown below.

Select and drag any items you want and put them in that folder. Once completed, click that folder to view only those items.

Zotero also lets you enrich your record for each particular item by adding personal notes, tags, and making links between different articles in your personal library:
