Creating Bibliographies

There are a number of ways to create citations and bibliographies. You can select the option in Microsoft Word or Open Office. The options show below will be added after you have installed Zotero. Important note: you must have zotero put citations into your paper if you want to use these buttons to generate bibliographies. If you want to make your own citations, there are other easy ways to make a bibliography outlined below.

Clicking "Insert Citation" will take you to a screen asking you which style to use. Select the citation style and press OK. If you insert bibliographies after you are finished your paper, Zotero will take these citations and make a full bibliography from them.

If you just want a bibliography and haven't used Zotero to put citations into your paper, you can drag any items into any word processor (including Google docs) to have Zotero generate a bibliography for you:

You can also right-click any foler or selected items and get Zotero to save them as a bibliography in a Word document.
